7He had work for tomorrow that he has to go home and handle tonight. It must have been a bit of pain for him to sit down and talk forever with his sister who doesn't accept the value of time at all. He tried to go home. Then, on the verge of returning home, he finally mentioned the man who is not wearing a hat.
"Actually, I saw Shimada the other day."
"Where did you see him?"
His sister said surprisingly. She is the woman who wanted to make intended and exaggerated facial expression that is often seen in uneducated Tokyo people.
"It's near Hara of Ota."
"Then, it's near your house. What did you do? Did you talked to him?"
"How do I talk to him? I can't talk to him."
"That's right. If Ken-Chan don't talk from Ken-Chan's side, he doesn't have obligation to talk to you. "
Kenzo could see that his sister is trying to meet his will as much as possible.

Kenzo couldn't listen to this story just as humour. Old image of himself get tangled up in such interactions that happened between that man and his sister was rather sad than funny for him. "I saw Shimada twice, my sister. I don't know when I gonna see him again."
"So what? You pretend you didn't notice him. You don't care no matter how many times you see him."
"But I don't know if he is looking for my house passing through such a place or he had his own business and came across as he passes by chance.
Even his sister couldn't solve this problem. She just used words meaninglessly that seemed convenient to Kenzo. It sounded like a empty compliment to Kenzo.
"He dosn't come here since then at all?"
"No, I havn't seen him for these two three years."
"How about before that?"
"Before that, it wasn't so often, but he came from time to time. But it's funny. He always comes around eleven o'clock if he were to come. He never try to go home unless I make him eat eel kabayaki with rice or something. He wants to eat even one of the three regular meals at other people's houses. And yet, he is wearing expensive clothes. ......"
My sister tends to go off the tracks, but Kenzo could guess that there was some kind of interaction between the two relating to the monetary problem even after Kenzo left for Tokyo. But he couldn't know anthing further. He couldn't know anything about Shimada at the moment.
